Issue a Town Proclamation
Issue a proclamation from your town elected officials to acknowledge Sun Day. Here are 2 examples of municipal Sun Day proclamations you may use and adapt for your community. ​​​

Plan a Local Event
Plan an event using the attached Idea Sheet or ideas you come up with. It's your event so do what makes sense for your community!

Invite Solar Vendors
We encourage you to invite a solar vendor(s) to provide information at your local event. If you need help connecting with a solar vendor, the Connecticut Solar and Storage Association can help. Please reach out to miket@connssa.org.

Find Solar Data
Find data on annual solar installations in your town and statewide since 2013.

Post your Event
Post your event on the official Sun Day event page. Click on the box on the right "Host and event for this event campaign", then click the "Okay!" box, create an account, and enter your information. Please contact us if you need assistance.
